Big Flies = Big Fish!

It's true, big flies catch big fish. Come down and learn to tie flies to catch the big apex predators that lurk in the Housy and other nearby waters. This class is for those who already know how to tie flies, but want to learn the art of tying big articulated streamers/poppers to catch pike, bass and musky. You'll need to bring your own vise and tools, but all tying materials will be provided. You will leave with a ready to fish pike fly, tied by yourself. This class will be limited to 5 persons to ensure you get personal attention throughout the class. The class will cost $20 per person. Please call the shop (860.672.1010) to reserve your spot. Spots will go quickly, but if there is enough interest we will run a second class when convenient.

About the Instructor

Stephen "Pogo" Pogodzienski has been fly fishing for pike, bass, and musky for over 6 years. He has landed over 300 pike and bass on the fly rod and has been guiding since 2012. He also has a freshwater hall of fame world record holder.
