River Map - Trout Management Area

This map is for general reference purposes only. While general locations are given to each pool, specific knowledge of the pools can only truly be gained over many years of firsthand experience. The Housatonic Fly Fishermen's Association has produced a great guide on the pools with a little more detail on each pool. We definitely recommend it for anyone who plans to fish the Housatonic. The best way to learn more about the river and specific pools is to fish with one of our experienced guides. Good fishing can also be found outside the Trout Management Area if you know where to look.
