River Flow 106 CFS - Visibility Clear - AM Water Temp 56'F. - Foggy start this morning with a chance of showers and maybe a few storms later in the day. High temp of 68' forecast with calm winds this morning but picking up to 5 mph in the afternoon. - Last night there was a great ISO hatch just before dark and there were also a ton of olives on the water during the afternoon. BIG fish were feeding along the wall yesterday afternoon and evening!!! The Daytime Soft Hackle and Streamer Bite is HOT!! - The state stocked 3,100 survivor strain brown trout last Wednesday and another 1,000 large survivor strain fish on Friday!!! - Trout and Smallmouth Bass are putting on the fall feed bag !! - The fish are taking daytime BWO's and evening ISO's on the top!! - . - With the river flow at 106 CFS it is easy wading almost anywhere in the Housy. - Today is a perfect day to get up here and throw some Rubber Legs for a bunch of smallies or trout !! - FALL IS BASS & TROUT FISHING TIME!!
BWO's starting to show during the day. - Another effective day time technique is to swing soft hackles to sipping rises. - Look for Iso's in the evenings. - Look for Trout behind exposed boulders in all the deeper riffles & pools. - Streamer fishing is the way to go during daylight hours.
AM River Water Temp 56' - River Flow 103 CFS. - Morning Air Temp 51'- Today's Air Temp High 60' - Tonight's Air Temp Low 53' - The trout are putting on the fall streamer bite as they disperse thru the TMA !!
