Trout are coming out of the thermal refuges and have started moving around and feeding in the TMA. - Flying ants during the day. - Look for Iso's in the evenings. - Bass Popper Bite Is HOT during the late afternoon and into the evening!! - Look for Bass behind exposed boulders in all the deeper riffles & pools. - Fish the side channels of the power house in Falls Village for Bass or Carp. - Lot's of exposed river structure to target at the power house - Popper & Streamer fishing is the way to go during daylight hours.
AM River Water Temp 60' - River Flow 110 CFS. - Morning Air Temp 35'- Today's Air Temp High 67' - Tonight's Air Temp Low 53' - Rain expected overnight. - DEEP is modifying the existing closure signs posted at the Furnace Brook refuge area to reflect the extension of the closure. All water within 100 feet of these signs will remain closed to all fishing through September 29.
