The river is getting into perfect shape. While there are some showers in the forecast for a few days this week, there will not be enough rain to affect the river. The water levels will continue to drop slowly each day and the clarity is also improving. If you're going to be fishing in the mornings, you'll want to have some bright color streamers and chuck these along the banks and in the softer water next to the riffles. You will want to have some caddis pupae and emergers for later in the day. The birds have been working in the mornings and evenings though rising fish are few, the fish are hungry and feeding subsurface. The smallmouth bite is starting to heat up as well. Big rainbows will be stocked this Wednesday!!!
